Hi, I’m Kristen Lans - executive coach, organizational development consultant, and trusted partner to leaders navigating the human side of complexity.
Before founding my practice in 2021, I served as Director of Global Learning & Development at the Wikimedia Foundation, where I built the performance infrastructure and practices for the organization that hosts the world’s free knowledge.
Today, I bring that same mix of strategic thinking and human-centered design to a range of clients - from high-growth tech startups to global nonprofits to mission-driven businesses.
My approach is customized, collaborative, and focused on impact.
Whether I’m brought in to coach a senior leader, facilitate a team offsite, or lead a broader org effectiveness project, my work focuses on one thing: Building high-impact, humane practices and work environments that drive performance.
Clarity wins. Most organizational drag comes from avoidable ambiguity.
Leadership is a practice, not a personality type. It develops through a willingness to learn and apply new approaches.
People aren’t problems - they’re sense-makers. Misalignment is usually a perception gap, not a character flaw.
Relationships are infrastructure. And improving them is one of the highest-leverage moves you can make.
